Lemme know when you post the rest please.
I wish one of these congressmen would have asked Moore if he would like to be enlisted and have his own fat butt shipped overseas to Iraq to fight.
Thanks for posting this, I will pass it on to my daughter, who just asked me about the film.
Hear Hear and Godspeed!
bump for later
I wish I could see such a quote in print. So far, I haven't heard any liberal decry Michael MOOre's manipulation and rampant half-truths -- not only in Fahrenheit, but in his entire body of work.
If the answer to that question is "yes," is there any doubt whose side he would be fighting with?
"let me say with no shortness of pride that Uday & Kusay are no longer a problem because to the actions of some top notch soliders, one of whom used to be a little boy in my house"
Wow! You certainly have a lot to be proud of!
Many thanks to your son for his service.
After reading this, it seems someone ought to do an exposé/documentary about Moore, hopefully in the same guerilla assault style he subjects his victims to.
I've given long consideration to why all of a sudden Moore and his sycophants are concentrating so much attention on this seven minutes and second guessing the President's response. And I've figured it out.
In the days following 9/11, the President's leadership, decisiveness, and conviction was completely unassailable. There is no valid criticism of the President's reaction to 9/11. Moore and his fellow Bush haters know this.
The only thing they can resort to is to Monday morning quarterback about those seven minutes in front of that classroom. They say he should have done this, or he should have done that. But the kind of unique situation he found himself in, being the President of the US in the midst of an active surprise attack, is the tarbaby of all tarbabies.
There is no response that wouldn't meet criticism from someone who thinks they could have reacted more appropriately. It's all too easy to second guess the President's reaction when you can sit on your couch watching the events unfold, rather than having the fate of the world on your shoulders.
It's as annoying as watching Jeopardy with the guy who always says, "I knew that one" after the answer is revealed.
Yawn.
I tried to post the entire article but it was so large (and slow) that it would've took me an hour just to format it on my Webtv. I couldn't find it anywhere else except on Google, so if you go here and hit the first title, you should be able to read the entire article.

Now there is an interesting thought: if forced to see this load of manure, one should laugh out loud at Moore's contrivances, and loudly criticize each and every lie to fellow moviegoers. A bit of show prep will go a long way here. It might be worth sneaking into the theater to do. I am sure it will be showing on the UMASS campus.....
Any comment from liberals in the audience should be answered using your best Dick Cheney impression, loudly inviting the complainer to F-off! LOLOL!
To the best of my knowledge, you cannot enlist someone else in the military, even your own children, without their consent.
Anyone notice how they made Michael skinny in the promo poster? Just another lie to go along with the rest of them.
Objects in poster are LARGER than they appear
This is even a big lie in the movie as Moore says he couldn't find any congress-critters families who were in the military fighting in Iraq. As one Republican congressman pointed out on Foxnews...Moore interviewed him and he told Moore that he had a nephew and other relatives fighting in Iraq. Moore left that interview out of the movie.
BUMP
