Michael Moore is a liar and a dangerous man but he is not a stupid man. He is expert at finding societies Achilles heel and exploiting it for his own profit. A prime example of this was the basis for his movie "Bowling for Columbine". The question the movie ostensibly set out to answer was "Why do Canadians have more guns per capita but less gun crime?" He knew perfectly well what the answer to this question is and in his usual smug manner he defied society to say the answer out loud. Charleton Heston alluded to it. One Canadian girl said it plainly. But Moore preferred to suggest that every category of American is responsible for America's high rate of gun crime and suggested that we Americans generally, as a people, are a violent bunch.

Maybe we deserve Moore for being so P.C.

Michael Moore ( I think I am the minority) should get as much press as the liberal media is allowing him to have. Why do I think that? He is a liar. He gets paid to hype half truth and innuendo's. The lies will be exposed, as they always are. I would be more frightened that this man could live in the shadows of Hollywood than in the microscope of Hollywood. Yes, he wants the attention. I don't disagree with that. But he also hides behind being a man of "comedy" with a few truths thrown in to make it look like he is really making a documentary. He is a jester in the court of Democrats. They will call upon him to make a point...but won't stand behind him when the details of his life are shown.

Did anyone see this big slob on LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIAN LAST NIGHT? My husband made me watch it, I'm sorry. Anyway, He is SO backtracking. He kept saying it's just HIS opinion! LOL! Conan was very good. I got the impression he didn't agree with the movie, but did what a host does. He started the conversation by asking Moore about the part in the beginning where he shows members of the Administration getting ready to be interviewed on TV and they are having make-up applied. Conan asked him basically, "so what? That's what everyone does." (Everyone except those who need it most, like Moore). Then Moore told how Wolfowitz spit on his comb to straighten his hair (ooh, what a scandal). Conan said, "That just made me like him more!" At the end Conan said, Like the movie or not, people are discussing the issues of the world and that's a good thing. And I'm beginning to agree.
