In an unprecedented move, President Bush's campaign has scheduled a prominent Democrat, Sen. Zell Miller of Georgia, to make a prime-time speech to the Republican National Convention in New York.

Mr. Miller, who gave the keynote address at the 1992 Democratic convention that nominated Bill Clinton for president, has agreed to address the Republicans in prime time, possibly on Sept. 2 when the delegates will nominate Mr. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney to head the ticket once again, confided a Republican with close ties to those planning the convention.

"I can't imagine what they hope to get out of Zell Miller--do they really think they need help with angry white males?" said Brad Woodhouse, spokesman for the Democratic National Senatorial Committee.

No, Brad, I think Zell figured you boys had the angry vote locked up and came over to have some fun with the sane folks.

This man needs to be the keynote speaker!!!

And he needs to say he is a Democrat in every paragraph of his speech. :)

Zell is retiring from the Senate and he's old enough that his political career is over. He's said before that he won't switch for the simple reason that even this turn in the Senate only occurred because his arm was twisted.

He should give the litany of economic commparisons to the Clinton administration like he did on Sean Hannity the other day.

The numbers were so astounding....he needs to give those over and over and over until it sinks in.

That would seal the election right there.

Hmmm...maybe Zell's constituents ought to see what the DemonRATs think of those who voted for and support Zell Miller!

Do the DemonRATs think that this kind of demagoguery will help THEM in ANY district that isn't majority socialist/Terrorist-symp?!?!

Apparently, they are 100% confident of the angry NON-White vote!

After Zell Miller retires from the Democrat party he needs a position in the administration.

I wouldn't object for Minetta to go, there a few others that need replacing as well.

At a bare minimum he needs an ambasadorship, preferably to France or Germany. Now wouldn't that be sticking a finger in their eye.

"Meanwhile the Democrats will get Kennedy and Gore calling their opponents Nazi's and Brown Shirts, stupid and evil. Promising to pay for everything, paid for by taxing only the "rich" (anyone with a job)."

As God is my witness, I am coincidentally wearing a brown shirt today! On one of the most liberal campuses in the nation (UMASS Amherst)!! LOLOL!! And here I am, being a "cyberterrorist," at least in the eyes of a highly deluded and likely heavily medicated Al Gore!! I think I will go urinate in a wetland later.....

Seriously though, ever notice tha no matter how "outraged" the Dems get, they are at a total loss to refute Miller's claims?
