I doubt the movie will win any converts here in the U.S. People's minds are pretty much made up. Moore is preaching to the choir. Those who already agree with him will go see it, others will stay away.
I'm more concerned about foreign audiences. When this movie plays in the Middle East, it will reinforce every stereotype they have about us. It will increase the hatred of the U.S. They don't have access to alternative viewpoints, and this movie will just reinforce the Al Jazeera viewpoint. Moore and his ilk will argue the movie is just anti-Bush, not anti-American, but that distinction is lost overseas.
