"I want the American people to know who MoveOn.org is. This is the kind of hate that they carry in their message. That ad has been out for over 2 months and John Kerry and his supporters, INCLUDING MOVEON.ORG, haven't said hide nor hair about it. The American people need to know that John Kerry's supporters are thinking about negative things. I'm thinking about positive things.

Your idea is well meaning but horrible. I think the ad should have left out the lame music and whiny comments at the end and included more clips of dems acting psychotic.

Whining isn't good, when Republicans whine it demoralizes the base. Just present the ad as "today's Democrats, are they like you?" fashion.

Thanks for the thoughts. I agree that whining isn't good and I hope that my "Bush should say this" thought didn't come off as whiny.

Here's the response from the Bush Campaign about this (I don't know if this has already been posted on FR --probably-- but I got if from the Bush email list)...

On Thursday, the campaign launched a web video titled Kerry's Coalition of the Wild-eyed. The video featured Democrats who support John Kerry making negative and baseless attacks against the President. Interspersed in the video were segments of two ads that appeared on a website sponsored by MoveOn.org - a group campaigning for Kerry - in January.

On Friday night, John Kerry's campaign denounced our use of these ads, and called that use "disgusting."

The Kerry campaign says, "The use of Adolf Hitler by any campaign, politician or party is simply wrong."

We agree. These ads, like much of the hate-filled, angry rhetoric of Kerry's coalition of the Wild-eyed, are disgusting. We created this web video to show the depths to which these Kerry supporters will sink to win in November.

Is this the Democratic Party of Franklin Delano Roosevelt who reassured his countrymen we have nothing to fear but fear itself?

No. This is John Kerry's Coalition of the Wild-eyed, who have nothing to offer but fear-mongering.
I think they said it better than I did. Not whining. And, just for those of us who have been a little sketchy about the campaign strategy, we can know that this campaign is measured and means business.
