Technology Venture Capitalist Floyd Kvamme's Statement Regarding Kerry's Visit to California

ARLINGTON, VA -- Technology venture capitalist Floyd Kvamme issued the following statement regarding John Kerry's visit to California:

"John Kerry is bringing his pessimism and misery tour to California, complete with his high tech baggage. Kerry has never taken a leadership role on high tech issues during his time on the Senate Commerce Committee, but his votes on the Senate floor speak for themselves. Kerry has voted against lowering capital gains taxes at least fifteen times, rejected two proposals that would extend the research and development tax credit and voted to allow Internet taxation.

"The technology industry has always needed a strong economy for it to flourish; the President's pro-growth policies have helped restore the economy. The President's programs have helped Silicon Valley recover. In the last nine months, over 1.4 million new jobs have been created nationwide. Because of President Bush's decisive leadership and upbeat attitude, America's economy is strong and growing stronger -- overcoming recession, September 11th and war. High tech workers and entrepreneurs know the importance of confidence and optimism better than anyone, but John Kerry is reacting to the fastest economic growth in twenty years with his talk about the Great Depression."

So where are the rest of the Silicon Valley boosters? Well, we know for sure ex high tech exec Gonzales is in the Rat camp, as are Jobs and Kirsch. Rodgers is pro GOP. But most are quite silent. What's up with that?

Yeh! That's what you say! Hasn't J Fn Kerry come out for raising the Minimum Wage? Hasn't he proposed removing the wage ceiling on Social Security? I also heard that he is considering the re-instatement of the Smoot Hawley tariff.

SARCASM ALERT!!!!!!!!!1
