Yeah he has been in a couple of movies, but the most disgusting thing, is she didn't shave her head for starship troopers.Carmen, after all in the book , is bald when she meets Rico when he was going to OCS.
Oh, come on... Let's face it. While the movie, "Starship Troopers" was fun to watch, about the only similarities to the book were character names and the title.
While I liked watching the movie, reading the book is so much better. Besides, I liked Dina Meyer so much more than Denise Richards. But in the book, wasn't Flores a guy? (It's probably been 20 years or more since I read the book).

Yes. Dizzy Flores was a guy in the book, and women were not allowed in the mobile infantry, only the Navy as pilots.
Also, the mobile infantry wore full body powered armor suits that weighted over 1000lbs.
The movie was a fun show to watch, but the book specifically talks about the bug warriors as having laser like hand weapons.
