Good for the SK's. The terrorists and their sympathizers need to feel terrorism themselves. For the sake of argument, let's just say that The Religion of Peace® is not linked to terrorists. We can say, however, that terrorism did start in their countries and mosques and they did absolutely nothing about it when they were in the best position to do something. Now they want to be immune from the consequences of inaction. Eff 'em, I say.

What was that old 60's cliche, if you're not part of the solution...

``Though our country had a war for years with Iraq, we also feel sympathy for ordinary Iraqi people because they came under the occupation of the U.S. right after they were released from dictator Saddam Hussein.’’

Moron Alert. If it weren't for the Americans you would still be under the dictator Saddam Hussein.

``Koreans need to know Iraq from Iran.’’

Heh.

I know things have changed. In fact they probably started changing about the time we got involved over there in the 50’s, but at one time Korea was probably one of the most racially homogenous countries around. On par with Japan.

And, even though they are all Asian, they hated the Chinese with a purple passion. Japanese too. At least the older Koreans did.

Oh, but anyway, they don’t necessarily need to know X from Y or what the nuances of your society is – they just need to know you’re not Korean. You’re non-Korean, and a Korean was subjected to a murderous act by a non-Korean. Historically that was good-enough reason to close ranks and commence killing.

But I know – we’re just One Big Happy Family now…

I can remember going to Korea in the 70’s. It was actually like visiting a foreign country. People would talk to you in English but if you couldn’t read Korean (or Chinese or Japanese, to a lesser degree) you were really screwed when it came to street signs (when they had one) or signs on stores and shops.

Then in 1986 (?) they held the 10th Asian Games in Seoul. I went back one last time shortly after they were finished. Somehow they’d managed to transform Korea (at least Seoul) from Korea into a Little-America Koreatown. There was something grotesque about it, IMO.

Now they had dual signs in Korean and English. Now they had McDonalds and Pizza Hut. Imagine that – with all the delicious (and relatively cheap) Korean food around, they want McDonalds… sheesh.

I can still remember standing in front of a shop trying to decipher a hand-lettered sign using my nearly non-existent Korean reading skills. The sign roughly said “aye-suh-kuh-ree-um.” I kept running through that trying to figure it out. I finally realized that it said “ice cream.” Which is somewhat sad because Koreans aren’t (weren’t) big on sweets or dairy products, much less frozen ones.

Oh well, the youngsters seemed to think it was a step up. Like Americans, they'll learn to tolerate those that intend to kill them. That's my suspicion anyway.

Many S. Koreans have trouble telling what is worth keeping and what is not. That includes the current President of S. Korea. A nasty fad they are importing from the West.

What they need to do is completely seal of that part of the world - even if that means we don't get oil. With national resolve, we can overcome that problem. Let these animals stew in their own slop.

No business travel to the U.S. no visas issued for any reason. Revoke all visas of visitors form those countries that are here in the U.S. High tarriffs on any country that continues to trade with these animals.

since the Korean hostage accident went public

with an attitude like that, you deserve whatever revenge the Koreans decide to open up on you.

The murder will lead to demonstrations -- IOW, riots -- against the US, and against Korean support for the US. It will also lead to an early demise of the anti-US jerks who currently (but not for long) run Korea.
George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent

20 calls constitute a "Flood"?

LOL Of course, this is coming from the same Moozie crowd that calls putting panties on a prisoner's head "torture". Give one of 'em a dirty look on the street and they scream racism.

Iran should wake the heck up and realize it's not only America that knows they're the mecca of terrorism. Someday real soon that snake pit's going to be weeded out.
