That Boston Herald, ya gotta love it. "Crooks for Kerry: Lefty group hires ex-cons to canvass" was how Sen. John Kerry's hometown paper today headlined his latest embarrassment.
Of course it's obvious that the Bush-hating groups campaigning for Kerry and staffed with former Kerry handlers are on the same page as the Democrat presidential candidate, but he's still trying to maintain the illusion that he's as ignorant of them as he is of, say, basic economics.
"The Kerry campaign cannot coordinate [with them], it's against the law," the Herald quoted Kerry mouthpiece Michael Meehan as saying. "We don't know anything about it."
And once again the Herald has shamed its pro-Democrat rival the Globe. The Globe today refused to post this news on its Web site but mentioned in a story about a Bush-bashing speech Kerry gave in San Francisco that the story was buried on page 13.
Who's That Knocking at My Door?
Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie had this to say about the Kerry gang's latest antics:
"It is disturbing that the voter mobilization arm of the Democratic Party is proudly hiring felons convicted of sex offenses, assault and burglary to go house to house and handle sensitive personal information.
"Democrat voters should be leery of opening their doors to political operatives until the Democrats can assure them that a convicted felon won't be on the other side."
Another proud moment in Dem politics. Maybe, someday, they will have to pay for this kind of crap. Or, maybe not.
What! They are now hiring Catholic priests for Kerry.
Bill Clinton's pardon list was mostly for criminals of all stripes - Democrats have used them alive or dead for their base for years. He,[clinton] even released terrorists in New York to help his wife gain a seat in the Senate.
This has the smell of fat teddy kennedy on it. You know, honor among theives.
Sex offenders going door-to-door? This hurts the theory that Bubba is trying to torpedo Kerry.
From an earlier article:
"I read with amusement about aides who don't know what they're talking about," Mr. Kerry said on Thursday. "I have not made a decision yet, and I'm the only person who knows when I will make a decision and what direction it will take."
1) Kerry cannot control his campaign staff and doesn't know what they are doing.
2) Kerry cannot control his aides, and they do not know what he is thinking.
3) The Kerry Administration would be run as a tight ship. Most Ethical Administation Ever part II.
Now that the terrible issue has come to the attentaion of the DNC and McAuliffe, this organization has been fired a a completely new hired as a replacement. The new organization is called "Felons For Flipper" or FFF.
George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent
