LOL - the first man I ever fantasized about marrying was Roy Rogers! (Don't think I would've been much competition for Dale ;-)
Well, I managed to marry a man who is big and dark-haired, but he's not a mountain man and he can't carry a tune. He's a good ol' country boy, though, and a bit of a cowboy, so I've got no complaints! :)
I've always liked Roy Rogers, too. He and Dale have always been such good, Christian people. I read Dale's books when I was young and they really had an influence over my life. I think "Angel Unaware" was Dale's best - the book about their little girl born with Down's syndrome.
