OMG -Howard Keel! He was GORGEOUS, and what a voice. One of his best was "Showboat" with Kathryn Grayson. He was so handsome to look at, it almost hurt! He even looked good when he got quite a bit older, when he was in "Dallas".
Yep, Howard Keel was quite the looker. My favorite role he played was Adam in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers." I saw it on TV when I was a young teenager and fantasized for years about marrying a big, dark-haired mountain man when I grew up. :)
My fav was 'Kiss Me Kate' with her.
