I love the beginning too when Doris locked herself out of the house and was picking up eggs and milk from the front porch and her bathrobe was stuck in the door and she dropped the eggs and got them on her slippers.

LOL - I remember that scene. Also the milkman, who would run from house to house with the latest gossip.

I love that movie! It was on not long ago on AMC........I just cannot stop myself from watching them!
