it appears to be so, he was quite adamant and repeated that he is an atheist, so in retrospect, his eulogy was not the heart felt speech that it seemed. He is morally, a coward. Michael stood up before millions and gave his testimony to the Lord. Ballet boy didn't have the courage to give his real testimony, all he could do was criticize President Bush and then act coyingly innocent.
I wanted to watch Ron Jr. on LK tonight but could not bring myself to do it. I didn't want to hear him spew his liberal garbage and be sickened that this man is Ronald Reagan's son.
RPR makes me sick!
But what else is new? He was always the complete opposite of his father, so this is hardly a surprise.
I will support Reagan and vote Republican--like he would have.
Didn't he vote for Carter and Mondale?
Normally a father cant pick his children....in this case its interesting to hear what
the son he did get to pick has to say.....
The only reason Jr. got his 15 minutes of fame...was that the left leaning media desired to use him to humilate his dad
And Jr. was more than willing to be used to this end...to get his mug on the tube...
Looks like he is still at it...
imo
Amazing. Just goes to show that, even after President Reagan's death, Ron has no clue who his father was.
I'm watching the 2nd airing now .. he's talking about all the people who showed up
Little Ron Doesn't Get it .. it has nothing to do with the current administration
IT WAS ABOUT HIS FATHER .. THE MAN .. THE PRESIDENT ..
It's was about paying paying respect and thanking him
He compares Bush faith in God to Bin Laden ??
I was hoping that if this causes his mother grief, he will be persuaded to stop saying those things about Bush. If not, he may put a very large strain on his relationship with his mother. I'm very convinced Nancy is comfortable with President Bush, and she would never support Kerry.
I notice Nancy has already backed off on her demands for President Bush to change the restrictions on tax dollars being spent on stem cell research.
watching it now--hideous. Cheap exploitation of his father's death.
Anybody see the PAGE 6 last week about Larry King wearing diapers?
LMAO!!!!!!!
Thank you for physically being where I could not be.
My prayers were with you, and with all those who were able to honor a man who deserved honor.
It is sad, that his own biological son does not comprehend the greatness of his father.
I don't really care much about the opinions of such a son.
We all have family members who we wish to ignore.
The best efforts of Ron, the ignoble black sheep of the family, will not stain the honor of his father,no matter how hard he tries.
It must suck to be constantly proven wrong, and still cling to ignorant ideas, just because your daddy didn't hug your deviant, homosexual, warped mentallity enough to suit you!
"This could be the biggest revolution in medicine ever, well, ever really. Bigger than antibiotics. Bigger than anything. "
Hey Ronny
If stem cell research is such a gold mine then WHY ISN'T THE PRIVATE SECTOR CHAMOURING TO INVEST IN IT?
Bush and the Republicans are against TAXPAYER funded research, not PRIVATE research, Since when does the government have to fund every loony half baked idea?
Ron and his sister Patti NEVER had a kind word for his father during his active political career and NEVER VOTED for him.
Indeed his sister spoke at the Mondale's Democratic Contention IIRC
They allowed political and societal movements divide them from their father. Just because it wasn't "cool"
They said the most hateful things about their father and sided with his enemies.
Ron Jr. is a political leech now turned political maggot.
Maybe the Kennedys will adopt this Ron.
And then he can run along to save the whales in the Hudson River with Robert Jr. :o)
I just watched the replay. Couldn't stomach the whole thing, had to turn it off. I was struck by his comment about people waiting in line to walk around a wooden box! I think he behaves like a spoiled little boy. His disdain for President Bush is evident. I'm sure Kerry is thrilled, maybe Ron can dance at the Streisand fund raiser. Then his 15 minutes should be about up.
That would be great. BTW, Michael Reagan was on Paula Zahn on CNN earlier this evening. It was a very touching interview, surprisingly for that network.
Rule 1 of Liberalism: Facts, logic, and consistency are irrelevant.
REAGAN: Sure, I have thoughts on the war.
KING: And what do you think?
REAGAN: And I think we lied our way into the war.
KING: You think it's a mistake?
REAGAN: Absolutely, a terrible mistake. Terrible foreign
policy error. We didn't have to do it. It was optional. And
we were lied to. The American public was lied to about WMD,
the connection between Osama bin Laden and Saddam,
which is virtually nonexistent except for fleeting
contacts. But they're still trying to pull that one
off now, Cheney and all are out there flogging that.
The Democrats may remember their lines, but how quickly they forget the lessons of the past. I have witnessed five major wars in my lifetime, and I know how swiftly storm clouds can gather on a peaceful horizon. The next time a Saddam Hussein takes over Kuwait, or North Korea brandishes a nuclear weapon, will we be ready to respond? In the end, it all comes down to leadership, and that is what this country is looking for now. (RNC Annual Gala, Feb. 3, 1994) - Ronald Reagan
I wonder how well Ron really knew his dad.
KING: Can I gather from that, that you will not support this president?
REAGAN: No, I won't.
KING: Will you support his opponent?
REAGAN: I will vote for whoever the viable candidate is who can defeat George W. Bush, yes.
KING: So, you might vote for Ralph Nader?
REAGAN: If he were a viable candidate I might.
KING: So the obviously you're going to vote -- what did you think your father would say, if he were here and listening to this?
REAGAN: I don't think he would have gone into Iraq. I think he would have been much more interested in going after Osama bin Laden, who after all planned the 9/11 transactions.
Hey, Ron, a TRANSACTION is when the Cleveland Indians trade a pitcher to the Detroit Tigers for a minor-league infielder. What happened on 9/11 was a TRAGEDY, not a transaction.
Ron P. Reagan repeatedly expressed his outrage about the Iraq prison scandal, but couldn't muster up much anger at all about 9/11. WHAT A FREAK! Who switched the babies at the hospital?
