Call me Bubba.
Ann's conclusion sums up in a single sentence Clinton's legacy. Its a devastating one. And I suspect the reason why Clinton spent 900 plus pages talking about everything else is the truth he threw it all away is just too much for a man of his monumental ego to bear - and Clinton has an ego bigger than the gap in the Grand Canyon. The inability of his apologists and defenders to "move on" can be explained by the fact their anti-hero doesn't have a single redeeming quality to him. Try as they might they can't build a great presidency when there's nothing there to build it up with and not even the Master Liar himself could name one personal accomplishment that's made America safer and left the world better. All I can say to Clinton and the liberals is, "Sorry but Clinton will never be Reagan." No wonder they're still obsessed with The Gipper.
[ Not what he did as president but WHO he did.... ]

Jen Bluestein and Kirsten Powers
Political consultants from central casting: intense Bostonian, blond Alaskan; ex-bossesBono, Tina Brown, Bill Clinton
One recent morning, Jen Bluestein and Kirsten Powers, the new Democratic tag-team wrestlers in New York politics, were discussing one of Ms. Powers recent appearances on Fox News, in which she was labeled a "Democratic strategist" and sparred with conservatives over Hillary Rodham Clinton.
"I was so caffeinated, I was swinging my feet," said Ms. Powers.
"The only thing worse they could have done was call you Democratic madwoman," said Ms. Bluestein, furrowing her brow for effect.
"I think Im really good on CNN. I think I really suck on Fox," Ms. Powers said.
Ms. Powers and Ms. Bluestein will have plenty of chances to keep working on her Fox mojo: The two women have recently set up shop in a Soho office as Powers/Bluestein, a movie script waiting to happen: Theyll think for you, theyll get your message out there, theyll even run your campaign.
Even if Clinton thinks of himself as Ahab, and Starr as Moby.
Way to go, Ann, you good lookin' thing you. Beautifully said.
Penis.

When a man has to run on the slogan "Character is Not An Issue," it indicates that character is most certainly the issue. Clinton had to run on that basis, because his own character was so blatantly, obviously flawed that it would end his political viability if it remained an issue. Thus, we defined the concepts of honor, character, truth away and lowered the bar for him, on the way maligning, mistreating, and sullying a truly honorable man and true war hero, Bush Sr.
Review the entire eight years of Clinton, and you see exactly how, where, and why CHARACTER IS ALWAYS THE FIRST ISSUE OF IMPORTANCE. The electorate lowered the bar, fell for the slick talk from a dishonest weasel and the media who pushed him unrepentantly, and we made character irrelevant to more of the American people when it comes to electing people to positions of power.
Why should I honor a man whose own campaign mantra admits that he is dishonorable?
