Highlights in the translation are mine.

I sense a palpable fear from Muslims in S. Korea. Internet is lit up in rage. Vengeance, retaliation, and extermination are frequently used words. It could help S. Korea if Muslims have 'healthy fear' of S. Koreans.

The public support of troop dispatch to Iraq went up dramatically after the news of Kim's beheading. When the news of kidnapping first broke, the support went down. However, after the death, the outrage drove up the support again. Now, public mood is in favor of dispatch. The pro-North group adopted the opposition to the dispatch as another of their pet causes. Now they are on the defensive. I hope their eroded credibility could help damage the appeasement of N. Korean regime they so tirelessly championed.

"Muslims who came to a prayer found it incredulous that the kidnapped S. Korean was murdered"

How's that for burying you head in the sand? These people win the prize for mindless optimism.

When Muslims are shocked, horrified, and incredulous, it never seems to occur to them to take a look at Islam.

South Koreans are no Spaniards, it seems! Bravo to them for seeing the real problem, which by the way is not the US but the barbarians who did the beheading.

Later today, Korean Islam Association, made up of 35,000 Korean Muslims, plans to make an official statement that the religion of Islam has nothing to do with the terrorist incident and they send deep regret for the death of Kim Seon-il.

Unfortunately it sounds as if they were not planning to do this to begin with.

If I were an Iraqi I would be dropping dime on every terrorist in the country. As a matter of fact, Iraqis themselves should capture and kill any terrorist publicly. If Iraqis don't wake up and put a stop to this the Orientals will wipe Islam off the face of the Earth, and IMHO, the sooner the better!

S. Koreans, unlike their American counterparts, like to publically vent their feelings in dramatical ways.

Would that Americans of all stripes, take to the streets to demand that American Muslims come out of the closet and publically denounce beheading everywhere, if they truly mean that they are a "religion of peace."

How "bout it, Freepers, why not start a campaign demanding the "religion of peace" folk stand up for the country where they enjoy freedom that they would never enjoy in any Muslim country?

Somehow this does not seem a strong enough statement to me. They renounce involvement but do not condemn the act.

It would be ironic and humiliating if it took the North Koreans to teach us how to deal with the problem: expel ALL muslims (the ideal) or at a minimum all non-resident muslims for the forseeable future (at least one generation).

Thanks for post. May God forgive me, but I want muslims to feel the fear that Christians, Jews, Buddhists and others humans feel from their evil "religion". Maybe then, if nothing else, the muslims will reject these calls for "jihad" this or "jihad" that and tell their hate filled imams or mullahs to go pound sand up their a**** and start turning their home grown killers into the police and quit giving them money. ( I'm not optimistic though, given that their prophet is a self admitted (in the Koran) murdering, lying, thieving pedophile.)

The sideline muslims are finding less and less room on the sidelines.

The House of Saud appeased and paid terrorists to go elsewhere. Now, those terrorists are back inside Saudi Arabia, causing havoc and killing and maiming.

More and more the Islamofanatic terrorists are forcing the sideline muslims to make a choice. Join or die.

Muslims need to realize they cannot sit this one out. They are either going to have to side with the Islamofanatic terrorists or side against them. There is no 'safe' ground. They have to make a choice.

Toobadsosad. Looks like good muslims the world over better start making it clear - loudly - where their loyalties lie.

Shows the major differences between our 'allies'. When Spain is attacked, they get mad not at the terrorists but at their government, surrender, and elect a anti-war socialist who brings his country's troops home from Iraq. When South Korea is attacked, they get mad, not at their government but at the terrorists. They resolve to send their troops to Iraq anyways to prove a point that they won't give in. Thank you South Korea for standing up and sacrificing. To Spain...you are not our ally, you are not our friend, you betrayed us when we needed help the most. Therefore, according to President Bush's own words (with us or against us), Spain is our enemy. Why do we pretend that it (and France, Germany, Belgium, etc.) are our friends?

Be afraid .... islam had better be very afraid.

In the last Crusade Christians could not exterminate a region of the earth. Now, we can do it in 45 minutes.

Here we are in the U.S., a much more powerful country than South Korea and Muslims are AFRAID of the South Koreans. WOW! Does that say a lot or what?

I would have had a different analysis, but you are on the ground, and see it more clearly.

They are pissed off for sure. We need to learn from them.

Americans have not adquately dug down inside themselves, down realllll deep, and brought forth ANGER about these Islamofascist terrorist, IMHO. You can read only apathy and lack of concern and naivete on the faces of Americans as they make their way to and fro MacDonalds in their SUVs.

Korean response to having their nationals killed may well be potent and dramatic. Thanks again.
