Miami, FL, Jun. 22 (UPI) -- The Rev. Jesse Jackson has accused Florida Gov. Jeb Bush of conducting "disenfranchisement schemes" by asking counties to purge felons from voting rolls.

In a visit to south Florida Monday, the Chicago civil rights leader tried to promote opposition to the state's use of felon removal lists, The Miami Herald reported Tuesday.

"Bush reacted angrily to Jackson's remarks calling them "outrageous" and saying Jackson was "past his prime.""

It's about time.

Just more proof that the Democrats are the party of felons.

When Jesse does stuff like this, it makes everyone who is not part of his political plantation hate his guts. But it makes him more popular with his plantation, which was the entire objective.

He's not stupid. He's just a jerk.

QUote "This is a typical South (tactic), denying the right to vote based on race and class," Jackson told those at a rally in Miami. "You see classical voter disenfranchisement. These schemes to deny or suppress voters are not new schemes."

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh gawd I love him...he is just tooooo much :)

Way to go Jeb. This is a political slam dunk if I ever saw one. The extortionist race pimp is desperate for attention.

Is Father Jesse implying that most of the felons in Florida are black?

Now THAT'S sterotyping.

No, you race-baiting pusbag, it's based on prior criminal activity.

Well, I won't die laughing because of this man.

Wish he would find a real job.

It is unfair! A lot of those felons are also illegal aliens, and/or deceased. Waddaya mean they can't vote? Do you realize the implications of this drastic and racist Republican ploy?

Don't you see, this could spread to California? The Republicans might carry that state in a fair election. Then where would we be?

Several years ago JJ was quoted as saying he would cross the street to avoid having to walk past a group of black youths. (Fearing for his safety)

Only Jesse could find felons "upstanding citizens." No doubt on account of having counseled one. LOL

If you have to be a felon to be a member, who do you suppose you will be in company with?

Or worse. Jesse is implying that most blacks are felons and as a black person I am offended by that. People who break the law simply don't deserve to vote.

Maybe Jesse needs to meet with Bill Cosby and let him talk some sense in him.

After a felon serves his time, can any of his rights be restored ?

I'll vote for J.S. Bach. I like his stand on the Brandenburg Concertos.

I don't have a problem with the right to vote being reinstated. I think there are cases where rights should not be restored - such as pedophiles..
