KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, June 22 (Reuters) - Afghan soldiers beheaded four Taliban fighters after guerrillas cut off the heads of an Afghan interpreter for U.S.-led forces and an Afghan soldier, a government commander said on Tuesday.The interpreter and the soldier were beheaded after becoming separated from a patrol of Afghan and U.S.-led foreign troops in the Arghandab district of Zabul province on Monday night, Namatullah Tokhi, commander of the government's 27th division in the province, told Reuters.
He said government troops later captured and killed four Taliban guerrillas in the same way. "They cut of their heads with a knife, so when our forces arrested four Taliban, we cut off their heads too."

I wonder if Afghan liberals are wringing their hands and whimpering like the scumbag liberals in the United States would do?
Actually, this takes the expression, "heads will roll" back to where it came from. The question is when and how does the escalation stop?

Dead on, although I don't agree with the 'nuke Mecca' line. Why? Because it doesn't make any sense, and we can do better than that.
There may well be peaceful Muslims. I have had lots of personal dealings with them (used to work for a Muslim family-run business- former Afghan Mujheddin)and I don't advocate reflexively frying them all. I don't care for Islam; it breeds whackjobs, but we can't go nuking Saudi Arabia. I understand the sentiment behind it, but everyone on this board knows that it isn't going to happen.
Annihilating the Middle East is ridiculous. There *are* *some* innocents there, somewhere. Even a Commiecrat president wouldn't get away with that.
There is no doubt in my mind that we do need to go Crusader on the bad boys that we catch, when they grab some of our people. Equally, I have no doubt that they're themselves terrified of being dogpiled and decapitated with a dull Kabar. This nonsense will stop, when we scare the crap out of them, and not before.
We know what scares them, they show us every couple of weeks on Al-Jazeera. Let's get on with it.
As a practical matter, no American President is going to risk the political fallout from getting caught ordering beheadings. There needs to be some mechanism that insulates him from the Commiecrats. Like turning government over to the Iraqis.
