Amen to that, I am very disappointed in the amount of emotion I see from some conservatives about Slicky Willie. I understand completely he was a bad, dishonest leader who had bad policies for the federal government....however that was the 90s! Get over it, he has no power!
I just can't help but think about the Bush haters in all this, and my certainty that it is their very all consuming hate and malice that will assure Bush's reelection, (just as that emotion doomed Dole to Clinton before.) I would hate to see conservatism's higher standing in the current national debate lost by this nothing book revealing the same childishness of my own side.
Since I'm no diplomat, will Blair respond or ignore old Slick on this revision?
Fortunately I'm cubicle bound, and therefore spared certain mental illness that would be caused by listening to our beloved (hack!) former President.
Hugh Hewitt is playing excerpts, and that's bad enough. The man (Bill) is a pig.
But if I'm Blair, here is my dilemma. Gee, do I side with the current and most likely (for the next 4 years) President of the US, or do I side with a pasty washed-up has-been who is running from Rather to Oprah to sell a book about his transgressions.
HHHMMMM!
By the way anyone know if Clinton mentions Billy Dale? in that novel of his??
Thanks for the link. They edited my post by one word-substituting Clinton where I had written "rapist"
Your journalist did a spectacular job interviewing the impeached Clinton. I contrast this with the sycophantic interviews conducted in the US media by the likes of Oprah and Dan Rather. I hope you Brits consider Dimbleby a national treasure.

I would just like the truth confirmed by Blair. I feel sure that this conversation took place only in Clinton's mind. The man has no idea what's really happened -- he lives in world all his own!
What did she say his 'real' nature is? I didn't think she knew him all that well or not as well as Dolly Kyle and Dick Morris who, I'm sure, will pick the book apart. I'm sure when Morris hears Slicks statement to Oprah that absolutely no one knew about Monica, he will remind folks that when Slick confessed to him, he conducted a poll to get the pulse of how the country will react if the truth was told.
Listen BUMP!
Newt dazzled by him? Not the Newt I remember during impeachment, nor the Newt today who compares both administrations and cannot find anything favorable to say about Slick's.
Great post, Dutchgirl!
I wonder what stage of STD's he has???
Turned Oprah on (MUTED) just to see the mug shot....wow....they've made his purple nose look a little more flesh colored, haven't they? Can't bear to turn on the sound, and now have turned it OFF....yech.
..and allowed 800,000 people in Rwanda to be hacked to death.
I don't hate Bill or Hillary Clinton. I am totally disgusted by them, they are a National embarrassment, like it or not! They are not over yet.
I'm watching this now. Why did they start the introduction with "Walk on the Wild Side" running behind pictures of him?
Gotta love how he blames his alcoholic father for teaching him the world view that "abuses of power are all around."
Yeah, you have your wife to partly thank for that.
What is this "contorted definition" (of sex) the lawyers presented him with prior to his deposition?
