Believe it or not a whole lot of these failures I saw during my career were for steriod use. We had a sports nutritionist and flight surgeons that kept us supplied with all sorts of vitamin suppliments , steriods , pain killers, etc and some would pop as a false positive. Either by themselves or when taken togeather.....
Granted abuse happens with illegal crap and these guys should have known better if such turns out to be the case.........

This case is for steroids, though the journalist's writing might lead you to think it is for crack or heroin. It's just steroids.
