I fail to see how the proposed Sierra Nevada Conservatory is an issue where the constitution is being perverted, specifically. As for writing my Senator (I thought I had two), I can't imagine either Boxer of Feinstein listening to me anyways.

Thank you for your admission of ignorance. The Sierra Nevada Conservancy constitutes a regional government with power to control the use of property by permit without voter representation on its board. It is not Republican government per Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution and will effect uncompensated takings in violation of the 5th Amendment. It also violates the California State constitution, much the same way the Coastal Commission did.

Arnold wants it because it's a payoff to his friends in the real estate business, select developers, and mortgage bankers (artificial shortages in residential real estate increase the loan base). That's why he is raking in all that lovely money, much of it from the same people as supported Gray Davis.

Got it now?

Had you read about the issues at the link I posted (and the links included in those posts), you would certainly see that these initiatives are a socialist assault on property rights; an absolute perversion.

When I said write your Governor and Senator... regarding two CALIFORNIA bills in process, I thought it would be obvious that I was speaking about your STATE Senator. However, writing Feinstein and Boxer wouldn't hurt as they seem to stick their noses in the State's business quite often.
