Dear Regal....
Please stand up for honesty and integrity and refuse the truth-twisting "documentary" from Michael Moore. Even its title is an intellectual violation, as Ray Bradbury has told the world.

FReeper action will likely make a real difference with those theaters who are thinking about showing the film (and hence listed by Moore on his website) but haven't decided for sure whether to show it.
I'll nag my family to contact those theaters you listed.
Don't know if a letter documenting the factual inaccuracies of the movie or reinforcing the Hezbollah stuff is more compelling.... *mulls it over*
This is a powerful theme: US Movie Theaters in league with Hezbollah..!
I have a feeling they are going to have a full box of voice mail.
For lazy or time-challenged freepers, here's the email addresses formatted for groupmail:
dgurin@regalcinemas.com; mcampbell@regalcinemas.com; amiles@regalcinemas.com; gdunn@regalcinemas.com; pbrandow@regalcinemas.com; barry.brown@regalcinemas.com; rwinograd@regalcinemedia.com; robbya@regalcinemas.com; kevink@regalcinemas.com; ddelaria@regalcinemas.com
I did...in fact, I just sent my letter to the Omaha, NE newspapers...
She needs some support!
Maybe this should get an entirely separate thread - or else we can just keep reminding people after they call/FAX/email that there is one easy thing they can also do... show that Moore's propaganda crap has been exposed to a growing number of Americans via expressing our opinions at:
And his website is what/where....?
nice...thx! It should also be noted to all that MoveOn.Org is promoting this film...
Working on it right now. It's taking time to format the votes as they didn't copy and paste well.
"Bowling for al Qaeda." Message sent.

Hope it helps to make a difference and does some good.
I have a different slant on this issue apparently...I hate to see this Moore fella get rich from telling lies but how can a person debunk or debate the film if you don't see it???
It's like the comical Congress defending the bills they sign without first reading them...
As I posted above, I *HAVE* seen portions of the footage and read parts of the transcript from the film.
No thanks, I refuse to give this guy any extra publicity.
Every entertainment program and station and entertainment magazine has done one to several pieces on him.
Hollywood LOVES him because he's a liberal lefty. That's why they were all at his film debuts in New York and Los Angeles - which the media gave extensive coverage to. That's why he won the Cannes film festival award - which the media gave extensive coverage to.
Since he is a Hollywood and media darling he will get all the free publicity he wants. He is also spending $10 million on a national advertising campaign to promote the movie. The trailer for his movie is running in theaters across the nation.
The question isn't whether Moore will get free publicity, the question is will enough people shame him and condemn him to the 'lying propagandist' station in life that he deserves? Or will the only people who talk about him be those who help him spread his lies and propaganda because they share his disdain for our military and the current administration.
A good day to all in FReeperdom.
"Are you Nuts! ???"
This is not a documentary. It's not a drama, it's not funny. Mr. Moore is quite candid about his desire to hurt the President in an election year.
There used to be a quiet, firm rule that we support our troops in time of war. The desire to smear our Commander-in-chief only helps our enemies and kills more of our own soldiers.
If this was a legitimate documentary I'd think that you'd have a simple business decision to make--is the controversy and free publicity worth the risk of backing a "non-commercial" piece of work.
This is not a documentary. If you distribute it, you are saying that it is.
