I and many other Texans proudly celebrate Confederate Heroes Day and the birthdays of those great Americans.

In Texas we have a choice of a holiday on June teenth or Confederate Heroes Day.

Your hate speech only shows you're totally misinformed about the war on the South and it's aftermath.

Well said. I grew up in MS so I know what you mean. Many of my greatgrandfathers and 1 gggrandfather fought in that war. One was so old that he was unable to fight so he made shoes for the soldiers. He lived to be about 93. We are very proud of our heritage.

Was it a war to free the slaves or was it a war of self-determination? I say the latter, it had nothing to do with the slaves, unless you work for the NYTimes, or Time Magsazine etc...

Care to list online referances for many of those ignorant of American History, modern and past without all the revisionist theories that abound.

One year we had Confederate Heroes Day and Martin Luther King day on the same day. I've always thought that was funny.
