AP) A statement by Michael Berg, the father of slain businessman Nicholas Berg, on the killing of Paul M. Johnson Jr.: "We, the family of Nicholas Berg, extend our sympathies to the families of Paul M. Johnson, Robert Jacobs, Kenneth Scroggs, Bassam Salih Kubba and Kamal al-Jarah. We hope they will find the strength to endure the pain of their losses. We also extend our sympathies to all the families and friends of all the victims of this war, including United States military, other coalition military, contractors, and the 11,000-plus innocent Iraqi victims. We have been silent until now to avoid for the Johnson family any association our son's death may have had."

Wonder if Daddy Berg still feels that the cold-blooded murdering islamic perpetrators aren't to blame but the Pres. is?

How long before Kerry announces that he's in touch with the Johnson family? Expect more shameless exploitation, with the blessing of the media.

I can not believe this guy. Doesn't he have any common sense? I know what it is like to lose a child but he has overdone it just a tad! Why doesn't he put the blame where it belongs--on the terrorists?

Is this a cult that Berg's parents belong to? The Cult of Victimology? Do they join the Rachel Corries of the world? The Synogogue of Self Hate and Victimology?

We also extend our sympathies to all the families and friends of all the victims of this war He thinks Johnson was killed over Iraq? Truly intellectually bankrupt. It's a growing truth that the peacenik attitude is about them feeling good inside themselves-- it has no relationship to the world around them.

Why doesn't he put the blame where it belongs--on the terrorists? He's blinded by his hatred of Bush to realize that the blame should fall squarely on the head of the terrorists who want nothing more than all of us, including Daddy Berg, killed. Daddy Berg's anti-war hatred is probably more to blame than President Bush.

Extending his 15 minutes of fame, and dissing the President, using dead Americans, including his son, to do so. Vile man.

You know, when self hate meets cognitive dissonance, this is what you get from the Birkenstock crowd. I am trying very hard to be diplomatic.

The peaceniks are like the dot in the center of a circle. They think the world revolves around them and their ideology.
