South Waziristan: Search operation in Spinkai Raghzai
SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Search operation being conducted in Spinkai Raghzai jointly by the security forces, political administration and tribal Lashkar.
Pakistan Army has got complete control after successful operations against miscreants in Spinkai Raghzai and Asman Panga areas in South Waziristan, military sources said. Troops were deployed at mountains around these areas.
The military faced stiff resistance however the terrorists including foreign nationals were runaway from the area after the operation. The terrorists were settled in the area since long and had built bunkers for them.
Spinkai Raghzai Bazaar was closed and the area was tense.
Corps Commander Peshawar, Lt Gen Safdar Hussain, paid a flying visit to these areas to meet the troops, discusses the situation with military officials and review security arrangements.
Huge cache of ammunition was unearthed in the military operation.
