Is there a link to the graphics? Because I want to distribute that link far and wide.

Just like the prison photos instead of words.

Then compare the prison scandal to REAL torture. Probably won't get 28 daily stories though in the NYSLIMES; however, like the Nick Berg beheading, it will be seen many times on the Web/Internet.

We need to see and compare for ourselves.

I didn't see any indication on here that they are going to make this clip available on their website. If they think people ought to see it, that's what they need to do, because the leftist media is not going to do it.

You both bring up a good point. I emailed the author through the NRO website (link in the upper left) asking NRO to host the video and/or screen captures. I'd suggest you do also.

There is a part of me that wants to be sarcastic and say yeah, but they didn't put panties on their heads. But the horror of the description simply turns my stomach. It makes me wonder why the voice of that part of the Arab world, reportedly so offended by US prison abuse, sat silent for so many years and matters at all now.

This is the face of our enemy. Play the tape. Show it to us in its uncut entirety. We must see it. Make it available on the net. Show it on cable. Broadcast it on the evening news. It is irresponsible to not show it to us, the people these fanatics have declared an unholy war against.

If it makes Muslims ashamed? Good. If it scares the beejeezus out of the rest of us? Good. We should be afraid and we damn sure shouldn't forget the pictures of Daniel Perl, Nick Berg, and the jets flying into the WTC.

Ante up CNN. Do the right thing for a change and broadcast the tape. You're Americans, too, right?

I happen to agree with you, but I also believe this video won't be making it onto the internet via a controlled leak anytime soon. The Dems don't want people seeing this, because it becomes a discussion of "Well who cares about the missing WMD... this guy WAS evil!" And people will start to be okay with our "invasion" and this war. And they will realize, finally, that the War on Terror DOES INCLUDE Saddam's regime. Can anyone imagine this happening here? To us and our children? I can. Which is why I back this War. So none of what is so vividly described above happens here.

Will the Saddam Fedayeen tortures and beheadings play on al Jazeera? Will Aaron Brown now sit silent to the things one must see to appreciate the horror of it? On the first, no. On the second, absolutely Brown will keep his mouth shut regarding the Saddam horrors because he's a good little leftist at CNN and must not in any way put at risk the propaganda and filthy manipulations by his beloved dnc.

No, they are not Americans too.
Anymore than the Dan Rathers and Peter Jennings are Americans, too.
If by American you mean a normal product of our culture who is nauseated by barbarism.Or the type of normal American I see in action every day.
Those media outlets who KNEW, and failed to report these atrocities, just so they would be allowed to stay in Iraq and report Saddams propaganda.
CNN admitted it.
So did Dan Rather.
Then they all "moved on" to more pressing matters.
They try hard to forget that ever growing numbers of the public no longer consume the defective product they attempt to sell.
I can get opinions anywhere and everywhere.
For hard "news" I seek out the best sources of reliable information.
The "media" is the last source I would consider reliable.
If ABCNBCCBSCNN reported that the sun rose today in the east, I would seek alternative sources for confirmation!

God help us. I think Michael Berg needs to at least read this.

Facts are meaningless politically unless they are known.

The "state media" -- CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, and the major
papers from which the small papers take their national and international news -- are against us. The facts won't help us win this election unless Bush talks about them in the most vivid and uncompromising terms, day after day after day.

Yup, I know what you mean about CNN giving in to Saddam so as to be allowed to stay in Iraq and be given access. It sickens me. And it sickens me when "journalists" would not wear a USA pin on their lapel because it might show that they were biased.

Biased?

I would ask them, are you an American first or a journalist first? I say they are neither. They propagandists for the other side and their stories confirm their allegiance.

In times of war, our history has plenty of examples of journalists who were AMERICANS first. But these modern day "journalists" are the Tokyo Roses or the Lord Haw Haws of our times.

Isn't it odd that the Democrats, the Europeans and the Islamic terrorists sound exactly alike?

I say play the tapes. Show us the face of our enemy. Show us his dark heart. We all want to pretend that evil doesn't exist, yet there it is on those torture tapes. Show us CNN, Dan Rather, Peter Jennings...tell us how we are just like they are with our little prison scandal...go ahead, show the tapes and tell us what we are seeing...as if we are too stupid to figure it out for ourselves.

I can't watch the propaganda media either,

"In the name of Allah the merciful," intones the beret-topped loyalist to Saddam's "secular" regime in the next segment. He introduces to the viewer and the assembled butcher squad to another prisoner. The loyalist-narrator reads from Koran, Sura 2:179: "And there is a saving of life for you in the Law of Equality in punishment. O men of understanding, that you may become the pious."

Oh yeah, they were "secular" and would have no dealings with those Islamic fundamentalists...It is one big gang with one goal, only separated be lines on a map.

I just wrote the writer of the article asking whom I could contact about getting the video tape. If nowhere else, we should post it here on FR.

Good! And good luck getting it. I personally don't think I could stomach seeing it, but I don't have any doubt about the animals we are dealing with.

I wish a documentary could be made about our war against terrorism could be made. Something showing the planes flying into the WTC, the people jumping and/or falling to their deaths, the aftermath of the Pentagon, pictures of the USS Cole, the be-headings of Pearl and Berg and, of course, the tape you're trying to obtain.

I would like the documentary to include various politicians making their comments about Iraq and about Bush and his/our war against terrorism. Include various actors and activists speaking their praises about Saddam's Iraq, then show the victims of his torture. Show the statistics regarding the number of schools, hospitals, power plants, etc. that we have built or replaced and what it was like their under Saddam.

There is so much that needs to be said and the media isn't saying it. They tell us Michael Moore style news. And speaking of...I hear that Hezbolah is pushing Moore's Fahrenheit 911. Sounds about right.

Ok...enough rant...for now.

Okay, I was wrong.

I found the link to this video this morning. I didn't realize this was the same video, only a "torture/beheading video" from Iraq. Watching it, I realized it was what is described above - parts of it anyway.

WARNING:

Should you choose to watch it, yes it is graphic and brutal. And there are porn ads on the site that links the video.

Here's the URL:

http://ogrish.com/.
It is near the top, titled "(New!) Torture/beheading video from Iraq ".
The one directly beneath it, titled "(New!) Other Brutal Torture Video From Iraq" is also more of what is described above. Exactly. I thought Saddam, or maybe Qusay was a witness in the first video, but hubby doesn't think so.

Anyway, there you are. I won't provide a direct link because of the porn ads.
