I will certainly let Sen. Machado (5th senate district) know what I think about this. I have no knowledge at the moment about these particular issues but I will learn before I send anything to the Governor and Sen. Machado thanks to the links posted above.

I have no plans to attend the hearings however.

It will be easy to oppose more enviro stuff after the spotted owl, the sucker fish, eco-terrorists (#1 terrorist threat says the FBI), MTBE, the original smog check 2, tens of thousands of enviro-(mis)managed forest land acres lost to fires, Kyoto's redistribution of wealth from developed nations to developing nations (the "free" traders are doing that task now), "rural cleansing," and hundreds more reasons.
