In the end, most likely they will have to promise a larger cut of the theater or pay them outright to show this.

Of course they will have to work overtime to convince the owners Moore will not destroy the precious summer season.

Spiderman will be everywhere, no problem skipping venues that show Moore.

It is? I think it is pretty evenly split, or perhaps 60/40, but no one near as liberal as say San Francsico or Santa Cruz.

do you live in SJ, or have you? it's liberal... they always go for the liberal candidate... the city council is mainly filled with liberal democrats... they just voted to acknowledge homosexual marriage... Representatives Zoe Lofgren and Mike Honda are liberal to the nth degree... the one recent Republican congressman--Tom Campbell--who gave up his seat to run for the Senate (and lost) was pretty much a RINO...

maybe the population doesn't contain as great a percentage of "extremists" that San Fran and Santa Cruz have; however, the politics are the same...

Does Mr. Moore cover the subject of the Carter Administration cozying up to UBL? Did it include the pics of NSA Zbig Brezinski standing with UBL inspecting his AK? Oh I forgot, it's a hatchet job done on one party.

Good point. I had seen the spreadsheet on theaters showing it by state but hadn't noticed the preponderance of Cinemark theaters.

Thank you for calling that to my attention.

It will run in a few venues for a week or so and then disappear. I guarantee that by the end of July this "movie" will be stale, old news. yawn.

It's not that I'm hung up on meeting a Jewish girl (my dad is Catholic), it's that most Jewish girls my age are mindless bleeding heart liberals - that is, if they care about politics at all. Maybe I will start hanging around churches.

"Cool, not one theater in West Virginia is currently showing the film!" One would think that "Sheets Byrd" would see to it that it was in all the West VA. theaters.

Actually, anyone going out to a movie should first go to a theater known to be playing F9/11. Before purchasing tickets, leave and let it be know F9/11 is the reason for leaving. If it isn't currently showing F9/11, ask if it plans to. If yes, leave.

I typed up a whole page of old guy advise to the young guy and it was all wasted by a momentary power outage.

I'll only retype the final sentence of the reply:

Don't despair-the future Mrs. ICX is out there.

Actually, the best approach is to advertise its real message: Moore is a Liberal who hates America and our troops as well as Dubya.

He was involved with Nick Berg...I feel it in my bones.

Nothing says more than a box-office BOMB. Only talking about boycotting it works. Remember at the start of the war how everyday people took on Hollywood? It shut them up when their livelihood was threatened.

Done. Told them I would be e-mailing all my friends and telling them to boycott their theatres as well as this movie -- protesting with my pocketbook.

Also told them they should be ashamed for not supporting our troops.

Only 8 theatres in California? I counted nearly 70 on that list. It's showing in Berkeley, of course, Oakland, San Francisco, Davis, Sacramento, Fresno, and many other places. I also noticed it is showing in Lafayette, which is a fairly small town, but it's theatre is an "art" theatre and tends to show smaller, independent artsy films.

When I went in thru that link & clicked on CA, it only gave me 8 theatres. There in nothing on the West side of LA....closest was Burbank.

Did you scroll down? The page is set up on frames, and if you look there is a scroll bar on the left hand frame that lists the theatres. There are three theatres listed in LA - AMC Century 14, Los Feliz 3, Pacific The Grove Stadium 14.

That's funny you said that.

There's a guy at work who's known to be a real player.

He says that liberal (tree-hugger and artsy) women are easier to get in the sack and better when they're in the sack.

Here's a great idea! Let's get the guy even more free advertising, make it look like we are afraid of the film and guarantee that even more people see it just because they don't like being told what to do.

Conservatives are often our own worst enemies, and our enemies best friends.

Come on, we all know there are physically attractive liberals & conservatives. Both can also have lots of inner beauty or be nasty beyotches. Your political views have nothing to do with your looks....unless you are the head of NOW.
