Look, I'm not saying they never had ties, simply saying that Zarqawi being in Fallujah NOW proves nothing about Saddam's involvement in something that happened 3 years ago.

The thing nobody ever brings up is that only one nation refused to fly its flag at half-staff at the UN following 9/11. Take a wild guess which country that was.

Group:

The comments herein are a discredit to Freepers. MOAB? i.e. kill thousands in Fallujah on the off-chance we might kill this guy?
What sort of bone head idea is that?
There's a group on this board who simply want to kill Iraqi's indiscriminately. No concerns about the goal (free Iraq), less concern bout the morality of the methods employed.
This is a tough job, maybe undoable, but killing everyone in Iraq is not an option.

I know. It's been obvious for some time.

I really liked the comment the president directed to the special forces today. Something to the effect that "the American people don't know what you're doing, but I do."

I agree with you completely.

There is no way we should just go in and start indiscriminately bombing the very people we are trying to save.

Further reporting says that we have people inside Fallujah right now continuing the hunt. Thats good enough for me.

Actually, it makes a lot of hearts and minds irrelevant.

Acccording to Fox news the military has been aware for some time he's there. The idea if for the Iraqis to capture him so as not to make a martyr out of him.

There's a group on this board who simply want to kill Iraqi's indiscriminately. No concerns about the goal (free Iraq),

You see..... that's the fundamental problem. We went to war against terrorists. We declared that everyone had to choose to be on our side, or on the side of the terrorists. We stated that we would treat those who aid terrorists just like the terrorists themselves.

Then we somehow morphed into this deal where we were going to provide freedom for Iraq, and this became the most important thing. So important that we can't kill some of the terrorists when we know what city they are in because we might make those we want to be free mad at us.

A joke that is going to hurt the country, our morale, the war on terror, and our ability to effectively move forward.
