THis would be interesting. Nunn is just slightly less conservative than Zell Miller. One has to wonder if he will have to flip-flop his lifelong held beliefs to match sKerry.

One potential problem, this would bring Georgia into play IMO. Sam Nunn is a vary popular man. Even I voted for him for Senate twice.

Bump this comment from another Georgian. It sure would make it a contest here. I wonder how Sen. Nunn feels about it? He seems more like a Zell Miller dem than a Kerry dem.

Unless Nunn has changed, I cannot imagine that he would VP for a person like Kerry. When I worked on Capitol Hill, most of the Christian staffers there either worked for Nunn or tried to get on his staff. He is an evangelical. I was, however, extremely disappointed when he signaled a wavering stance on abortion about the time he considered running for president.

I agree, commish. It would be totally out of character for Nunn to go to all the trouble to sit on his hands since leaving office, then throw all his chips in to tote Kerry's "warm bucket of spit" as veep. Now would he go to State? Sure. But that's an empty hypothetical. Just another goddamned trial balloon from the emAPty heads on a slow news day.
