I'd rather listen to someone drag their fingernails across a chalkboard for three hours than listen to his show. I have to agree. I think what disturbs me the most is his absolute cruelty in not telling his audience what he's doing. And, before you start, yes I did call into his show once. It sounded like a perfectly normal talk show to me, and I had no idea the "guest" I was speaking to was Hendrie himself. Even worse, I gave out my real name on the show, and, even much worse, Hendrie's producer didn't bleep it out like they should have. As soon as I got off the air, the calls started. Several of my (now former) friends and business associates called to tell me what a jerk and idiot I was. In brief, Mr. Hendrie cost me several friends, he cost me business, and he caused a great deal of emotional distress.
