Mexico's President Fox to visit Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota
San Diego Union Tribune ^ | June 14, 2004 | Associated Press

Excerpts:

MEXICO CITY -- President Vicente Fox will visit Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota during an upcoming three-day U.S. visit...

Fox, who is scheduled to leave [Mexico] early Wednesday, is looking to strengthen his governments ties to the region's leaders, as well as drum up support for Midwest investment in Mexico and stress the need to protect the human rights of Mexicans living and working illegally in the region.

SNIP

In case any Freepers wish to welcome him, this is my summary of El Jefe's visit (I'm assuming that the article is talking about this week):

Wednesday 6/16

Thursday 6/17

Friday 6/18

...[Fox] to protect the human rights of Mexicans living and working illegally in the region.

In the meantime, the politicians in Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota are doing what to protect the human rights of their legal constituents?

I think Fox would be better served by drumming up support to protect the human rights of people in his OWN country.

Starting with DF in Mexico City ...

That takes money.

Send yours to Fox.

He'll get right on it.

Mexico's President Fox to visit Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota

I guess he just wants to stay in touch with the illegals who left his (their) country for this one. It would be helpful if he would take a few back with him.

stress the need to protect the human rights of Mexicans living and working illegally in the region.

Translation = He will make demands for taxpayer-funded public benefits, Social Security, amnesty, drivers licenses, etc.

Isn't that special. I hope FReepers and everyone else turn out to let him know how we feel about his policies.

Have you pinged the state boards? Just had a thought. How do illegals cope with Minnesota winters?

Too bad Mr. Big Boots Vicente isn't paying a visit to Tom Tancredo in Colorado. I'd travel there to see that one.

From the rate of mail being sent to Mexico from these three states ( wetbacks sending their illegal gain home ), Fox can tell these mayors and governors how many Mexican criminal trespassers live in their states.

Seems to me the technology for sorting the addressee could be employed to learn the location of the person sending the mail?!?!?!

FYI

Just a few years later, French explorer Robert Cavalier, Sieur de LaSalle passed through the "Portage de Checagou" in 1682. He is remembered as a visionary who immediately recognized the potential of the land saying, "This will be the gate of the empire." But, LaSalle was on his way south to trace the route of the Mississippi, claiming the entire Mississippi River Valley for France, and he never returned to the area.

The word Chicago is from a Native American word most likely meaning wild onion or garlic, and neither this city nor this land has gone by any other name since the recorded history of this area. And, it will keep on being Chicago long after you and I are gone. Comforting thought, no?

Hope that clears up your misunderstanding.

Why doesn't this bandito make things better for his citizens in their own country so they don't have to come to ours?
