You should really stop putting words in my mouth with the "going to kill me if I don't convert" talk - that is not how the Inquisition worked, not how Christendom worked, and it is not how I envision a Catholic State. The idea is to defend the truth, not simply make it one of many options. To what extent that defense is made is an arguable point, one that would depend upon your views of the severity of straying from the Doctrine of Christ.

I think it's past time for that on this thread -- please explain to us your vision for a Catholic State here in America.

Well, let's see...he maintains that the Inquisition wasn't REALLY all that bad, and that his religion is the ONLY "truth", and therefore should be "assisted" by the government in "guiding" lost souls, and in making sure those who want no such "guidance" and prefer Liberty are kept "out of sight".

I feel strange saying this to you, Ike, but "you do the math..."
