W could have toned down his rhetoric and his enthusiastic tone and still have remained gracious.
However, he was rather in a sticky wicket and while I am a bit disappointed in him, I can't get too outraged and upset at him in this particular case..

No denying, it was a tough spot.
But was it unavoidable? Did The Nameless One host a similar event for GHW Bush?
But then, lying for him is like breathing for you and me, only more effortless.
