Wonderful post! I noticed that many reporters, especially Chrissy Matthews kept trying to say that most people were there because it was tourist season, and they just happened to be visiting DC and didn't want to miss an historic occasion. They weren't really there to pay respects to Reagan! Jerks! Think how they would have played up the large crowd were this a former Dem President!!

The spin was, they were there for a historical event, not to see Reagan per say. It was a great lesson for my kids because they say the hypocracy of it all. I caught an NBC national guy trying to talk to my oldest without my permission. I walked by and said, "You aren't talking to those freaks at NBC are you??????" She giggled and the reporter looked stunned.

You are so right .. they were so green with envy they were replaying the Johnson funeral over on C-SPAN .. ROTFLOL! The dems are just pitiful.
