I know it's cruel and unusual punishment upon the public, but every President has an official portrait done in oils for the WH. President Bush will have his done in 2008 - just before he leaves office .. which is normal I believe .. but as usual Bill is late for everything.

Anyone here ever seen the "hall of Presidents", or whatever it is called, in Disneyworld, Orlando?
There are all of these magnificent presidential portraits...all of the US presidents, hanging in one room.
Lincoln, Eisenhower, et al, in magnifient paintings. Classis poses, all of them.
And then there is, yes indeed, Bill Clinton.
And this painting looks like it was done by Van Gogh. It is childish, even a little on the bizarre side. Certainly not very flattering. I couldn't contain myself.
This exhibit must have been done by a Freeper. How'd ya get it past Disney?

The worst part about this painting unveiling is that it will get coverage far beyond the event's importance. All those media types who've been anxious to get the Reagan funeral over with will go over the top with this one, just for equal time, you understand.
