#4. Uncle Sam grieving. Very fitting. Thank you for the post.

Yes. That was the one that got me. #10, too.

This one's my favorite. Siers, as you may remember, got the idea from the photo of the Reagans greeting wellwishers from the window of his room at Bethesda, shortly after he underwent colon cancer surgery. I think that's the message he wanted (and still wants) to leave us with, that he's happy that so many here love and miss him, but that we shouldn't be sad, because he's okay, and he's in a much better place.

Yeah. That's my favorite. Hard to choose. It honors so little of what he did, yet it speaks so clearly to me of him.

I think he'd "aw shucks" destroying the Soviet Union, Berlin Wall, ending the Cold War, etc...

Great thread, summer. Thanks.

#12, The Big Gipper. How wonderfully clever. That's a keeper.

"I sure hope you're a Republican."

What was it the Dr. said in response? "Mr. President, today we are ALL Republicans."

It looks like people have put their logins up for websites like CNN so you can watch their pay videos. Nice.

It has really pissed me off how the news sites have been trying really hard to stop the flow of information by making people pay for video now.
