I've been crying all week, and for the life of me I can't figure out why. A good man who did wonders for the world is gone to his rest. That's not sad.

Perhaps these are tears from the depths of your soul which longs for enduring faith, hope and love.

It was a tough week for me too. I watched some of his old movies and realized that he was from a different era. We are not the same nation of the 30's and the 40's when most of his movies were made. In those days men were more honorable, a handshake was sufficient, no word smithing games and Ronald Reagan was a faithful husband. He was also a gentleman. You don't see this to often anymore. That makes him all the more endearing.

You couldn't help but like him even in his old movies. His character showed through. He was certainly the right man at the right time for our President. We could use another man like that as our President today.

Perhaps your tears of the pride and adoration that you have for this wonderful man? Nothing wrong with that. During several parts of the week, reading or listening to stories about this great man, I felt like my chest was about to explode with pride. Right about that time, a tear or two would find its way down my tightly-clinched cheek and jaw.

Tears of pride. Tears of joy.

Those are the best kind.

me too. I can't even say I admired him in the 80's. I was a stupid liberal then and I just came to be a believer as history has proven him right. I'm glad enough others had better insight than I, and elected him so that the country had the benefit of his idealism.

But I've been crying all week.

It struck me that maybe I should spend a little time this weekend doing some introspection and figuring out why this was such an emotional thing for me.

I have been crying too,I believe when you lose someone dear in your own life you realize how truly heart breaking it is and also how precious and short life truly is. God Bless us all!
