I can't help but think Reagan was sending messages to the people through this service. The grandeur to showcase our military, the beauty of traditions, love of country and mainly the messages about God, grace and the wonderful hymns leading people to Him.

How so like Reagan to think of others instead of himself in his final goodbye.

All the media talked about the cold war, but the biggest message coming out of this week is likely to be Ronald Reagan the Moral and Ronald Reagan the Christian. In some ways I wonder in the back of my mind if perhaps he intended this state funeral to be a form of evangelism.

I agree totally. It was as if he was right there, stroking the wind. No ill health, no worries, total peace. I am happy he is home.

Good night all. It has been a tremendous week. I have never been happier to be America. Tonight I love all you Freepres.
