She did us proud, they all did, and I think we did right by them too.

God Bless America.

The Christian themes are soul-moving.

God must have moved the pen of the writers.

And to think what is passing for music these days, makes you realize how much more intelligent the generations that preceeded us were. We are witnessing before our eyes what happens when a nation turns against God and when others insist the rest of us do so likewise.

My heart aches for her.

Ditto. I am beside myself when I see her show emotion. Putting her head down on the casket I thought I'd hyperventilate, I was sobbing so hard. Now I'm getting all teary again just thinking of it. How do you lay your soulmate to rest? How do you turn and walk away. I'd be rooted to the spot and have to be bodily carried away.

I was sitting here watching the service with my 13 year old son, who asked me why President Reagan was so important. I explained carefully to him that President Reagan was responsible for the fall of communism. Perhaps the greatest tribute to this man was my son's next question-- Whats communism? I had difficulty explaining, I have always "known" what communism was, what the threat was, nightmares I had as a child of nuclear war. Thank You President Reagan for that. What a beautiful service. My prayers for Nanacy.

I heard it wasn't Alzheimer's, but a disease that causes many of the same effects.

I feel like a 10 year old kid again. That's how old I was when Reagan took office. He was my president before junior high

Same here.

Maybe with the passing of President Reagan, a new day will pass for those in Hollywood.

I doubt it. The actors who are getting work are the ones who are spouting the leftist slant. The Lord of the Rings movies....Viggo Mortenson is very vocal about being anti-Iraq war, a real pukey lefty. Ditto with Anthony Serkis (Gollum) and Sean Astin (Sam) who's been spouting at interviews that he's a Democrat. They're all against the Iraq war and didn't want their film to be taken as a pro-war statement.

Just remember that no one mentioned him out of any sense of respect.. quite the opposite. But God would like to see us compose ourselves, so you are not off base. It was nice meeting you today.
