No of course GWB isn't like that. That is however a liberal talking point about him, that he believes he has a mandate from God.

Nancy's finally showing signs of weeping...wiping at her nose with a kleenex. When they present the folded flag to her, I think I'm gonna lose it.

Thank you so much for making this a memorable thread about a memorable event w/your pictures.

Thanks too to all of this Freeper Family for sharing this day, this week. It has been so comforting to be together in both sorrow and joy.

I will be reading the thread more slowly in the coming days soas to soak up all the goodness that is in all of us when we speak of our beloved President Reagan, who is now free of the "slings and arrows" and at peace with his and our Heavenly Father. His was a life well-lived. May we all take him as our example to live our own lives.

I'm heading to Lake Arrowhead after this. Sit on the deck and take in the stars after a great day for Mr. Reagan.

Wow, beautiful night and a beautiful service. The flyover was great. I just wish Ron Jr. would keep his partisan liberal politics and his crappy attitude to himself. I enjoyed his remarks otherwise, and his sense of humor. The broadside at Bush was uncalled for, but then the Bush haters are a classless bunch. Patti and Michael did great too. Poor Nancy. She looks so tired and bereft. God bless her.

I have kept silent through this final memorial...

Now that taps has sounded, I want to thank my Freeper Family for their love and commitment to a Great Man, Ronald Wilson Reagan.

It makes me Proud to be associated with such a fine group of true, Patriotic, Americans...

Having said that, I'm out of kleenex, and it's high time to grab an adult beverage, and hoist it to the great man...

Thank you Freepers
