The ole nag- I mean my mother and my aunt are watching CNN.
I think mine would chuckle,,they got pretty old and after a certain age I think one chuckles at the foolishness of the young. Dad would think women's lib and all the abandonment of children and loss of women in civic life as mothers et al was stupid. But I do think he would chuckle and wonder how we all got so stupid.

big difference between this dignified between this and the DNC funeral debacle. They screamed we will win, this is a testimony to the fact we actually won and they lost.
My father was also very Reagan-like. This funeral ceremony makes me miss him even more.

Thanks, I had taken the whole day off to see the funeral this morning, but I had to go to this party, but used it as an excuse to hold an Irish-style wake to the Pres., and had a great converstion with a co-worker that shed a few tears along with me today, seeing the events unfold. FNC just showed Thatcher seated behind the family. She's there. Chris Wallace said she "gin'ed up nicely" for this. We'd been told she was so frail but she's holding her own.
