It's too little too late. They need to completely shut their water off. Everything!!! And I mean everything.
We'll see how much they mean it. Then I'll believe it.
I don't know why they are suddenly enforcing the laws, but it's good news.
There is at least a 2 yr wait for Section 8 housing. When my oldest ones were 3 and under a year old, my father found out about Section 8, and drove me over to sign up. I still remember the mob scene at the city hall in Carson. We were about the only white folks there. By the time our number came up, my now ex and I had started paperwork to buy a house in Victorville. Time spent waiting? 5 years.
This will free up more housing for citizens, and people who are here legally.
