protesters were outnumbered by police

Just like most of the NOW pro-abortion marches.

Nevertheless, the media tend to present these few demonstrators as representative of mainstream America.

At many protest "events" it's estimated that the journalists covering the morons outnumber them two to one.

The only thing these pitiful protesters caused was much grief for anyone who needed to transact business anywhere between Brunswick and Savannah. The area became a police state.

Ya'll
It has been the biggest joke!

The activists were wandering around with folks looking at them like monkeys in the zoo.

They looked SO lost and confused.

It's good to know they are saving themselves for BOSTON.
After they are trounced in the name of "Democratcy".
They won't get far in NYC.

Dem 1968 convention

The Dems know how to handle their own troublemakers when they start biting the hand that feeds them.

Teach a Democrat to fish and he will curse you for not just giving him the fish.

We laugh because it's funny, we laugh because it's true.

My guess is that the numerous buses coming from the Atlanta airport to delivery all of the thousands and thousands of protestors...simply got lost on the Atlanta turn-pike...and were all eating slurpies at 7-11 when the G-8 boys were meeting. Or it could be that they all met up Harold's tub and rub by the Macon line...and just stayed on a while...drinking beer and talking to the ladies....and eventually forgot why they were there.

The big excuse is that most stayed away out of fear of Ashcroft labelling them terrorists and them being rounded up under the USA PATRIOT Act and imprisoned indefinately. As if they've even read the actual Act itself. They must've missed the section on NOT going after protestors using the Act.

Oxygen sucked away by President Reagan's funeral. Did the same think to John Kerry's pep rallies this week.

One problem with running a campaign platform of "Vote for me because I am against so-and-so" (hate platform), is that you must sustain the angst and vitriol else your audience will leave you. The Reagan funeral has interrupted the angst and Kerry and his surrogates in the press will have to try to get it back. But because the momentum will have been lost, the public is likely to say ho-hum - 'what's new in what they're saying?'.
