Looks like they are praying. Notice Mr and Mrs Ford in back of them.

This pic isn't as damning as the vision I had in my head after hearing about it on the live thread.

(They're still jerks.)

Well, of course you're right, but it is a web cam shot. There is no doubt when you see it on the clear pic from the TV.

Not at all. You can just barely see W in the background
as they were tranitioning over from his speach to them.

It looked worse. The stills don't look as bad as when we were watching.

"Looks like they are praying."

...except that he looked like this practically every time they showed him. I think he spent too much time at the
Interns Reunion last night.

I did not want to comment on the live thread for the service about this disgrace, but I saw it myself when it happened.

To my eye, he had the oddest look I've ever seen on his face. The camera lingered just a bit and he got a weird almost smile on his face.

I hate to say it, but the person on the other thread who said he "looked like he was being serviced" was closest to the mark rather than just "sleeping". Whether he was daydreaming or dreaming while really sleeping, it gave me a visceral jolt of the strangeness of his behavior.

She struck me as sullen, much as she was at the Cathedral on the National Day of Prayer and then that first address to the Joint Session, when she slow-clapped and eye rolled.

I bow my head and close my eyes when I pray. I thought bowing the head is a sign of revernece to the Almighty?

not as damning??

During the ceremony on live TV, they switched back to the Clintons (on Fox and ABC) several times, and stayed focused on them for what seemed a long time.

I swear I saw spittle drooling out of the Slickster's mouth at one point, and it seemed like Hillary did one of those jumpy twitch things, like when you're having a dream and suddenly wake up.

The TV commentators at the time had too much respect for the Reagans to get political, and I can only hope that the subject is brought up again and again next week on radio and TV.

Those who don't already know have to see what low class buffoons (the Clintons) they've been worshiping all these years.

No, They were NOT praying. I saw the whole thing, and this joker was nodding off right and left. I taped it too. They were both ASLEEP. This is just one picture, I saw the entire thing.
