TEL AVIV, Israel, June 11 (UPI) -- A Palestinian couple frustrated over their inability to marry approached Israeli lines hoping to be shot together, it was reported Friday.
Soldiers suspected the couple were not militants and held their fire, the Yediot Aharonot newspaper said on its Web site.
The couple in their late 20s have been friends for six years and upon questioning, told officials they could not marry because of a dispute between their families, a military source told United Press International. They decided suicide was their only option.
They approached the Kfar Darom settlement early Wednesday. The woman dropped her bag when soldiers approached and hugged the man when soldiers pointed their guns at them. Soldiers asked the woman to move aside so they could search the man, but she would not let go of him until shots were fired in the air.
After searching and questioning the pair, the army released them, confident they were not affiliated with any terrorist organizations.
Lol zot gun!
I've never seen the admin so zealous. I love FR, we can usually get away with anything.
Sorry. Don't buy it. They are not prisoners in the West Bank or in Gaza. If they wanted to leave bad enough they could find a way, just like tens of thousands did and are doing now in their place.
But Jesus is G-d Himself in the Christian faith. According to the Christian faith, G-d Himself proclaimed Jesus to be G-d.
If G-d Himself declared Jesus to be nothing more than a prophet in Islam, then one of the following is possible:
If the third is true, then it doesn't matter what anyone thinks about a figment of men's imagination.
Since I believe G-d does exist, I am left only with the second possibility.
I do believe that it could be possible that someone who has never heard the Gospel but who has heard the Koran and who has served the G-d of the Koran faithfully, recognizing in him the character of Jesus Christ (the G-d of the Gospels), could be saved. I do not know. That is in G-d's hands. But one who does not proclaim that Jesus is G-d is not worshipping the same G-d as the Christians worship. As much as I respect the Holy Church, I don't always agree with her.
Shalom.
Your example is also a good description of Nazism.
What, a mishmash of Norse and Christianity? Throw in some Theosophy and Spiritualism, and you might come close to describing the wacky "religious" side of Nazism, but that's only a small part of Nazism.
LIE.
"When you meet the unbelievers in jihad [holy war], chop off their heads. And when you have brought them low, bind your prisoners rigorously. Then set them free or take ransom from them until the war is ended." (Koran, 47:4)
Shall I find you more verses? You might need to study islam a little harder or is it your practice to deceive??
I am a bit puzzled by your choice of verse. It says then set them free.
This is, of course, contrary to the teaching of the New Testament.
How do you account for gory bits of the Bible? I have never read anything so revolting as the sacrifice of Jalpeth's daughter.
