Not in the least, Gorbachev is that man of good will who arose from the ashes of a failed regime. He understands better than us all how evil it was.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. But note that near the end of her remarks, she credited Gorby for his statesmanship, almost "forgave" him, while the film clip showed the famous Reagan-Gorby handshake.
