Yeah, there was one guy just now saying that Reagan had "tens of thousands, maybe millions of deaths on his hands from AIDS".

I was about to get real mad, but then one of my cats jumped up on the cable box, changing the channel. Good kitty.

you're welcome; I wish I could tape it too, as I will be at work the entire day, and a second job to boot. I don't know how to tape from my VHS....I'll be tuned into CSPAN tonight to watch the replay, which I'm sure they'll air.

Lamb insisted that he hadn't heard one word that Clinton was upset or angry. Why don't I think Lamb is telling the truth???

Lamb said the story was "unsourced," which is true. Also that Clinton himself hasn't made any on the record expression of disappointment.

I personally believe that Clinton expressed disappointment and maybe even anger to an aide, and "requested" (maybe by not saying "keep this private") that the expression be floated in the press. Clinton is a small man, with a very inflated ego.

NYTimes Abu prison on the front pages was the most of any story, other than Watergate.

Talk about beating a dead horse.

Neal Boortz has been tracking how Abu has beem weaved into other totally unrelated stories through various media reports. It has passed the point of being overdone. Now, it is just silly, the way the media tries to bring in Abu.

Two weeks ago, Hannity interviewed a dem-commentator. At that time, Hannity asked him what 'new' information came out of all the front page stories during the previous 10 days. The dem-commentator had to respond, "None."

And Rather and Brokaw are complaining that the Reagan funeral is getting too much attention.

At the mid hour of night, when stars are weeping, I fly To the lone vale we loved, when life shone warm in thine eye: And I think that, if spirits can steal from the regions of air To revisit past sceans of delight, thou wilt come to me there, And tell me our love is remembered even in the sky. Then I sing the wild song it once was such rapture to hear, When our voices commingling breathed like one on the ear: And as Echo far off through the vale my sad orison rolls, I think, O my love' tis thy voice from the Kingdom of Souls Faintly answering still the notes that once were so dear.

Remember, the "Clinton is angry" story was floated by Drudge, the same guy who gave us Alex Polier and Clinton's black baby...

The libs kept trying to bring up Iran Contra and asking Reagan funeral well-wishers about it. hahaha Most had no idea what IC was about. Libs had to change tactics.

I noticed on CSPAN, the lib 'seminar' callers all harped on Reagan not stopping Aids. (Most couldn't even carry on a conversation about funds, actions, etc., during various Administrations; all they have are the talkingpointsmemo, but they have to sling that mud in hopes of dimming the Reagan Legacy.)

FYI: yesterday, I went to the grocery store, where it also has a small eating area nearby the entrace. It was interesting to see several older people there, all with newspapers turned to pages devoted to President Reagan.

They've been faithful to replay every occurrence of importance....from President Bush's less than one minute visit to the short visits of Gorbachov and former Prime Minister of Poland.

Yes. I believe they do make a concious decision to act that way.

Oh, and the "Reagan was a bi-partisan statesman, Bush is evil" line was on full display this morning on Fox. Rich Galen was the Republican and he LAUGHED at the democrat woman who was pushing this. He reminded everyone how nasty the democrats were to Reagan when he was in office, and told the democrat woman that she wasn't old enough to remember.

I am not sure whether I like their phony praise or not. A lot of Sheep who will be forming their impressions of Reagan based on this week. If it is mostly positive, things look good in terms of getting him on the dollar, and the overal substantive legacy.

On the other hand, I hate the insincerity of it all.

I don't know how these people can live with themselves. Their entire lives are wrapped up in lies and deceit.
