I'm proud to have someone like you who wanted to become an American. Welcome to our wonderful country. So many take it for granted.

"Ave Maria" Wow, I could hear that again. That was fantastic. Who was that? (I have my back to the set).
To: mystery-ak
Did you see Laura Bush reach out and touch Tony Blair on the shoulder as she walked up the aisle? Very nice!
To: ambrose
I dare say we'll be doing this for him in the near future ... barring a skydiving accident.

President and Mrs. Bush just arrived and sat down next to Dick and Lynne Cheney.
The Ave Maria was breathtakingly beautiful.
Bush and Clintoon just exchanged greetings.
To: imintrouble
God Bless and good luck to you.

Oh, that was just beautiful. So comforting and soothing. Who else but an Irish tenor could sing so beautifully for President Reagan.

Who is sitting this one out in a safe location? I know what you mean. I wouldn't want to have the SS's job all this week.

The clintons really are sitting in the row in front of all the previous presidents. By themselves. Is there some kind of meaning to this? The protocol is always to place the former Presidents in order starting with most recent one. Maybe Bush didn't want to sit next to him? Strange.
To: ambrose
Don't want to argue with you..but if anything had happened to Ford, could you say "President Rockefeller?"..that would have been a disaster..
