Did you see the Fords on Larry King? He has trouble speaking well these days. It was touching and a bit funny to see the way Betty kind of takes care of him when he needs it, in his speech.

When you look at Major Jackman, and how tall, handsome, strong, polished, and supportive he is with Nancy,it makes me reminisce to a time when we all felt about not just our servicemen as our saviors and protectors, but men in general. I really miss that. George Bush makes us feel that way.He is compassionate and kind but very strong and very tough for us. He gives us the feeling that there is nothing he won't do to protect us,so that we can live our lives normally.

And if we wanted to build it TODAY, the ACLU would file suit against it.... Absolutely 100% correct.

Our principal actually announced that she "hoped that the teachers would allow the students to view at least the funeral." Our faculty is very conservative (at least for a public school) and every room I've gone by, including the library, office, gym and cafeteria all have the service on. One of my students sang with the tenor "Ave Maria" and it was beautiful to hear.

The Reagans have hated the Clintons for many reasonsMost notably that i42 hired Hinckley's defense attorney during impeachment.
