The Cathredal is certainly stately and majestic looking, inside and outside.

I know there are some bad apples in that Cathedral, but I don't think that a more incredible group of people has been amassed in a single place in over fifty years.
President Bush is speaking to a historic audience.

Was just musing to myself that if this were held at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in DC. someone could have run over and splashed Hitlery and Bubba with holy water. Was wondering if they would have melted....

The definite study of Thatcher's impact and influence on Reagan has yet to be written...I believe she showed him the way, she honed his idea that EVIL EMPIRE should, and could, be confronted..opposed, not appeased..the genesis of Grenada and Panama, was after all, the Falklands..

I got to put on my boss's tv because he is traveling and I keep jumping from my cubie to his office to watch. Of course I am depending on Free Republic for play by play when I am not at the tv. That's what I was doing, until the Deputy Director showed up. He saw me standing in the Director's office, looking at his tiny TV, so he swiped a bigger TV from the ADI's office and wheeled it into mine. I can watch AND FReep now!

I saw that too, but I figger that's just for people traveling in with President Reagan. As disgusting as the Clinton's are, protocol would dictate that they get a prominent seating as the last occupants of the White House.

" Britons only curtsy and bow to royalty."
Yes, and I was very moved by her doing that. It showed me just how much respect this woman had for President Reagan.

Does anyone else feel like the past 5 days have been like a flashback to the 80's?Absolutely. Almost as if the last 20 years never happened.

Was trying to get a sense of the size of the crowd lining the streets, but the cameras are too quick.
Other places, they are much deeper.
